While teaching at a North Carolina College, I met some of the most dedicated and determined professionals I've ever encountered. I also met some of the very worst. During my eleven years teaching there, we were challenged to modernize a decrepit curriculum, introduce new gizmos called Macs, and to hold true to the college's mission of teaching and training students to become professional graphic designers within two years.
